Boots, Baguettes & Beyoncé: A Transatlantic Tale

Tea, Baguettes, and...Cowboy Carter?

Y’all...we did it. We hopped across the pond with suitcases full of dreams, questionable snacks, and at least 2 cowboy hats. First stop? London, baby!

Let’s just say we were on a mission to live our best international lives, eat everything in sight (even the weird stuff), and maybe catch a glimpse of royalty. Spoiler: mission accomplished (well, sort of).

Queen Bey & Cowboy Boots: A Very British Beyoncé Adventure

We landed in London ready to embrace our inner British baddie—but not before channeling our inner cowgirl. Because what’s more London than pulling up to the Cowboy Carter tour in boots made for walkin’? That’s right. AG (aka the Queen of our group) got to see THE Queen herself...Beyoncé. In. Person. Insert dramatic gasp.

Yes, she was flawless. Yes, we screamed. No, we have not fully emotionally recovered.

In between fangirling and fashionable boot-stomping, we did the whole London thing: sightseeing, navigating the Tube like pros (AG & I just following Erik), and sampling the local cuisine. Some of it was delicious. Some of it was...a culinary crime. But we were brave, and our taste buds survived (mostly).

Paris: Croissant Core & Disney Dreams ✨

Next up: Paris—the city of lights, love, and really good bread. We swapped our cowboy hats for berets (not really, but we considered it) and hit the Parisian streets like true wanderlust warriors.

We saw all the sights: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, a baguette that was probably longer than our arms. And just when we thought things couldn’t get more magical, we leveled up...to Disneyland Paris.

That’s right, we let our inner kids run wild. There were churros, characters, and that one “haunted” ride that AG was determined to ride but was ready to leave within 5 minutes. It was a pixie-dusted fever dream in the best possible way.

Final Thoughts: 10/10, Would Cowboy Again

Between Beyoncé, baguettes, and borderline suspicious food choices, this trip gave us enough memories to fill a scrapbook (and maybe a therapy session).

Until next time, London and Paris. Stay iconic. And to Beyoncé (and Blue)...if you’re reading this, AG says hey.
